Alloy Steel 4140 is a medium-carbon chromium-molybdenum alloy structural steel with excellent strength, toughness, and hardenability. The material is typically processed in the annealed/normalized condition and undergoes quenching and tempering to enhance mechanical properties. It is suitable for large-section structural components subjected to high loads and impact forces.
